So I thought I could save half an hour or so by removing the crank handle from my el cheapo grain mill and driving it with my power drill.
Within 300g I had completely stripped the thread I attached the drill to. Now I can't even crush by hand!

Anyone willing to let me come around and use their mill for a couple of minutes in the next week or so?
I could add slant of Coopers and Whitelabs Hefe yeast to your yeast bank...

Cheers,

Michael

Hi Jon,
I've missed my brief window of opportunity this weekend, but will be in touch soon.
Much appreciated,

Michael

You should (have) post in the ISB subforum, as a few of us have mills. State comp is on next weekend, at Ashbury, if you want to meet up. Pls change your location info to include Sydney.

cheers

How is the "Tony Mill' holding up.... B)

The Tony Mill is in storage. Still works fine but the need for replacing the rubber o-ring which drives the 2nd roller every 3 or4mths via complete disassembly, encouraged me to invest in a Mashmaster Mill, with gear driven 2nd roller, which is going great.

cheers
