Which Reg Do You Have With Your 23 Jet Mongolian

I've been trolling through the threads and there is a lot of disjointed information out there.

So can I ask which reg (i.e. make and serial number) you are using with your 23 jet Mongolian Burner.

keep it simple,

pressure required is 2.75kPa

flow rate should be at least 92Mj (each jet is approx 4Mj), more is fine, it will draw what it needs

gameco in auburn sell a few different ones that will do the job

If flow rate = 92Mj. Then
We know 100,000 B.T.U. = 105.5 Mj
so 92Mj = 96,600 BTU

1kg LPG = 47.132 BTU
96,600 / 47,132 = 2.05kg/hr

So the standard 2.75kPa, 2kg/hr reg will be ok.



In saying this, I was running my 20jet on a 0-207kPa adj reg to get more power from it, as I had it trying to boil 120L. If you do this and blow yourself up don't blame me h34r:

This is the exact reg I am running with the 23L jet mong. Have been doing so for years without issue & with plenty of grunt.
