I want to set up my HERMS control box very soon and need to buy some toggle/(on-off) switches for things like the pump, HERMS heater and HLT Heater (once on the PID will control these)

I have some nice set ups saved as a photos from our members - I think it was schooey's (file attached)

I am also looking for 240V lights (as in a indicator when the switch is on)

i Know RS farnell etc would have them but i dont have an account or the money to buy via them. Does anyone have a good supplier?

looking at 5 switches and 5 indicators(240V) - this is more than needed my i want to have total control over things and know some may not get used

Melbourne is best but mail order is fine!

(note this is not my set up, i understand its schooey's fine setup i hope he does not mind the post)

Lethal, i tend to link the 'turn' switch but now after your link you make sense as these have the indicator inbuilt - less wires and room, and might be cheaper.

thanks - seems like i need to visit Jaycar for some parts :)

thanks

Edit : the current is fine

You can get a similiar switch with a indicator light built in which you can turn to switch on rather than the press/rocker style on that link. I would imagine jaycar would have them also.
I use them but have no idea were they came from, all I know is mine fell of the back of a truck :icon_cheers:

Timely thread. I have been looking for something similar myself recently. In fact I went to Jaycar but had no luck. Plenty of the ones in the luink above but no "turn" switches. I guess there's not much of a difference though at the end of the day.

The only "turn" switches I have seen have been outdoor HPM switches, but they cost the earth. Cost aside, they would be perfect for the job though, as they are waterproof etc.

Try going to an eletrical wholesaler like L+H/Auslec, TLE or John R Turk they should have some twist style switches and indicator lamps

Indicator that fits Clipsal Faceplates
