I'm keen to give the liquids yeasts a go now that Ross has them in stock.

I'm making an ESB and would have used WPL007 for no other reason than thats what the recipe calls for.

WHats would work in the Wyeast range

Seen this before? Handy little bugger eh? According to this, 1098 should see you right ;)
 
That's a handy website. However, having used some of those yeasts in the "comparison" section I am not all that confident its that accurate. One example is Wyeast British Ale II and WLP Southwold Ale. The Southwold Ale is a much nicer yeast IMO. Nothing wrong with the BAII but not the same by a long shot in my view. Not sure if the same would apply to the Whitbread vs Dry English Ale.
