I've seen this style of glass a few times at commercial venues:

I don't remember what I drank from it, but I imagine it would be great for an AIPA or red ale, maybe even a wheat beer?

All my google image searches are coming up with no matches. So can anyone tell me what style of glass this is and what beer style it is designed for?

Looks somewhat similar to the Spiegelau IPA glass.

If it has a really heavy glass bottom, then more likely for a hefeweizen etc.

I don't sweat my glass use too much, pretty much use whatever takes my fancy on the day. Beer still tastes good!

Not really bulbous enough for a Spiegelau IPA glass. Looks a bit like a Maxwell and Williams 415ml Pilsner Glass only $2.00 at Robins Kitchen.

They had some similar to Spiegelau at my local Robins on a big sale 4 for about $23.00 in January.

Thanks for the suggestions, after some lengthy googling I've found some matching glasses, E.g. here and here. They call it a "Craft Beer Glass" which sounds a bit generic, so I'd still love to know if there's a more official name for this shape.

Cheers :D

Yes first one in list looks the closest. Nice looking glass but does not state its cpacity.

Love my Hobgoblin Pint glass ideal for a big can of SN Torpedo.
