The bride is having a tupperware party this afternoon, and she spotted an electronic scale for about $90. Converts from metric to imperial (perfect for american recipies) and max weight of about 3kgs. Thinking this might be the go for measuring grain

anyone else got anything from tupperware that has been a hit for homebrew?

 HOW MUCH? $90??

WAY way way over-priced. I got my 5kg max-weight digital scale for $29.95 from HomeArt (ex copperart). Doesn't do the unit conversion, but so what? how often do you actually convert on the fly?

Think twice - put the other $60 towards a bag of grain, or some small tupperware containers for storing hops.

My 2c :)

yeah. I got one from Harris Scarfe for about the same that does the conversion. That's what I use for measuring hops, sugar etc.

Got mine from Big W. Does the metric/imperial conversions too.
Best $27 i ever spent ($29 if you want it in chrome finish!)
Tupperware's a bit of a rort IMHO.
