Hi, i am in the market for a new thermometre after my last digital probe decided it didn't like water inside of it.
I have seen some thermometers in the US that have what they call "Quick Tip technology" that enables them to read "the correct temperature within 8 seconds or less". (http://www.northernbrewer.com/thermometers.html , ProAccurate Digital Thermometer).
I have seen the threads that talk about the standard digital thermometers but none seem to mention probes that have this capability. The question is, does anyone know whether themometers with this spec can be purchased in Australia at a reasonable price ie $50-60 dollars. Or should i just get it shipped in from the US ie Amazon or Northern Brewer.
Thanks
Will
