Is that Dave from the Greensborough HBS? If so, I reckon that'd be worth going to.

sounds great, to bad it'd be a 3 hour round trip for me, maybe we'll get something like this a bit closer to the eastern suburbs

Booked my place. Apparently it's been pretty popular and there's only a few spots left.

That is an absolute bargain. You will soak up lots of information.

If it saves you screwing one brew, it will have paid for itself. Plus all the extra information you will learn.

If the person running the course works in a HBS, all the better. They know what questions new brewers always ask.

Anyone who cannot attend, here are the secrets.

Sanitation.
Temperature control.
Good ingredients.
Keep good records.
Keep researching, reading, join a brewclub, help out at local comps, brew more beer, try more beers of other brewers and the good stuff at the bottleshops.
Read the airlocked topics in all the forums on AHB. One of them is 10 points to good brewing which covers these points and a few others in greater detail.
