I apologise to all for my lack of knowledge when it comes to hop prices. I have done a bit of research over the past 24hrs since my premature post of excitement after stocktaking all the stuff. I have come to discover that hops vary in price considerably between different varieties.... Generally I just buy 100g packs from the local home brew shop that sells just about every variety for $13 per 100g. I have scored a few lots of random hops from you good folk as well which were around the first rate that I put up of $8.5 per 100g.
With the research and forethought that should have gone into the prices before I posted and consequently stuffed up like a noob, and possibly looked like a scrooge I have come up with some more structured pricing shown below:
Varitey
Remaining Weight (G)
Price Per 100g (100 to 499g)
Price per 100g (500g +)
Tettnang
1900
$5.50
$5.00
Northern Brewer
800
$5.50
$5.00
Cluster
2200
$6.00
$5.50
Perle
220
$5.00
Mittelfruh
2800
$6.00
$5.50
Kent Goldings
3800
$6.00
$5.50
Mosaic
200
$8.50
Galaxy

Amarillo
800
$8.00
$7.50
The grain has been stored in sealed 60L fermenters and is all uncracked. I don't have a mill so will have to be sold in the same manner unless someone is offering a mill that I could purchase? I have also made some amendments to the grain pricing:
Type
Maker
Remaining Weight (Kg)
Price Per Kg
Chocolate Malt
9.0
$4.00
Roast Barley
Joe White
24.0
$4.50
Munich Malt
Joe White
14.0
$3.50
Malted Wheat
24.0
$3.00
Crystal Light
Joe White
18.0
$3.50
Roast Malt
Joe White
15.0
$3.50
Cara Malt
Joe White
14.0
$3.50
Adjuncts remain the same:
Adjuncts
Remaining Weight (Kg)
Price Per Sack (25Kg)
Price Per Kg
Maltodextrine
325
$50
$2.50
Dextrose
20
$1.20
Yeast also remains the same:
$3 per 15g
Type
Remaining Weight (G)
Pilsner
540
Ginger Beer
215
In the future I will ensure that I have a bit more knowledge on what I am trying to sell off and will not post after a very long day and probably too many home brews under my belt!
I hope these prices seem more attractive and I haven't offended anyone. It wasn't intended at all and just stupidity/lack of what would seem to be common knowledge. This research has inturn shown me how much mark up the brew shops put on commonly available supplies to keep a shop front operating.
Cheers Digga.
