Heya. I have only just started in the HB. First it was just going to be a play around with an old HB Kit that we gave my old man a few years back and he never got around to using it before he passed. Then once I started reading about it on here then actually doin my first and improving on my second -my wife will agree - I am obsessed. No ****, I got up for a piss about three this mornin and couldn't get back to sleep cos I was thinkin bout it and how I can tighten my processes to get things a bit smoother. I know I am a long ways off some of the things you guys talk about on here but I am enjoying myself all the same.
Anyhow there was a question coming. My neighbour who is an experienced HBer has given me some Saaz hops plugs cos I mentioned that I was keen to do a pilsner that he had on his recipe list. I know that they are only a few bucks but I didn't want to waste em since he kindly gave them to me however my brewin fridge isn't set up yet to do anything below 22 degrees. Can someone tell me please the best way to store them. Fridge? Freezer? Dark cupboard? They are just loose in a press seal glad bag.

Try and extract all air from bag,and wack them in the fridge/freezer.

How long have they been outside a fridge/freezer?

Oh and continue to enjoy yourself ;)

Thanks milpod.
I only had them out maybe an hour after he dropped them over and then I took a punt and put them in the fridge.
ps Sorry I just read this back and thought maybe I should have chosen some of my words a bit better.
