Morning fellas, thought i might share a little mishap that happened this morning as so other people dont injure themselves too. I went to attach my replacement sodastream bottle to my reg this morning and didnt realise the reg adapter was a bit loose. I went to screw it on as i have done many times b4 and gas came squirting out everywhere onto my hand that was gripping the reg.
%#$@ i thought tighten it more to stop the leak. Little did i know at the time is the freezing cold air from the gas has given me freezer burn (frostbite?) over 3 fingers and the majority of my palm. I now understand why when u see the guys fill up your gas bottles they wear gloves. Lessons learned:
1) check the connection with the reg is tight first
2) wear a glove
3) its not worth burning my hand over $12 of gas
