Sierra Nevada Bigfoot - Timelapse Video

Just browsing the Sierra Nevada website after learning they're on BN The Session this week and came across this great timelapse video of their barleywine fermenting in these great big open fermenters.

The link to the video is about halfway down the page above the photo of the open fermenters at high krausen.
It is an impressive beast!

It's ok, the issues you have are quite normal for a brewaholic. I've been going through the same thing the last few years

Yeah I also found myself wondering what the smell was like.

I didn't realise it had already been posted - http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum//ind...showtopic=45853 - there's some discussion on open fermentation...I'm considering giving it a shot.

I noticed they didn't poke a pinhole in their gladwrap. Otherwise they could have got an infection. :lol:
