I'm wanting to make a Tsing Tao brew and I need to put in rice extract to it. Does anyone know where I can get this?? I cant find it anywhere!

Cheers!!

Do you live in the country ? In major cities, it can be found as the most logical place... an asian supermarket.

Why dont you just use rice ?

as Silo Ted asked, why not just use rice?

boil say 1kg (or whatever) of rice in heaps of water until it's screwed aka a glutinous porridge (that no how you make porridge), add to mash

don't know where in the country you are, but I assume you have rice?

QldKev

edit: this does assume you are mashing

Ah yes, I assumed you were mashing also. If you are a kit beer maker, then you cant use rice.

Maybe you could speak to your local chinese restaurant. BribieG has a photo in the Recycled Vault of what it looks like, and its written in chinese, so you could print it off and show them.
