G'day all

I put down an AG Coopers Sparkling Ale clone a few months ago, hopped with Super Pride hop pellets (29.7 IBU-19IBU FWH, the rest a 20 min. addition). I've just started drinking this out of the keg and, um, well, I don't like it very much. It looks terrific but it has quite a pronounced and almost astringent bitterness. It seems to me like I overegged the hopping <_< . I was wondering if I could try and fix it up by dry hopping the keg (after degassing it) with some Styrian Goldings, say, 10-15gms. What do you think?

Why not blend it with something more subdued and less bitter?
2c FWIW?

It'll take more malt to balance the bitterness so blending would probably be a preferred option
adding a dry hop oesnt add any bitterness but the flavour is usually perceived as bitterness so probably wont help a lot

Thanks Chappo and Muckey. That sounds like good advice. Might be the perfect excuse to brew an APA and then mix and match. Actually, the beer's not too bad but I'd forgotten how harshly bitter POR (and its cousins) can be.
