I racked my larger and while I was doing it I thought I would rack my ale?

Brew Date: 18/09/2007
Tin: Coopers Canadian Blonde (8/8)
Extra's: 1Kg Coopers BE1
100g Coopers LDM
Yeast: SafAle US-05
Water: 2L Hot
19L Rain Water
Original Gravity: 1048
Pitch Yeast: 22c after 40min
Fermentation Temp: 18c
Notes: After 4 Days 1022, Racked and set to 3c (Still some activity)

Should I have keept it @ 18c for longer, I think final gravity should be lower?

Can I take it out of the Keg Freezer which is 3c and get it back to 18c to finish?

I am planning to keg 18L and put the rest into bottles.

Any advice?

Cheers,
Youngy

Youngy,

Why so impatient? Let it go for a week (preferably two) and rack at 1015 max. (depending on og)

Answer: Yes, you should have kept it at 18 for longer. No, it probably wont get going again after being at 3c.

Will probably taste too sweet and overgas in the bottles.

Lesson 47: be patient!

Yeah, racked early due to only having a small time window and I was racking the larger so I thought I would do the ale. I have a sick 11 month year old at the moment so not much time.

If I bring it back up to say 18c, will it be ok and start fermenting again?

Can I thow some more yeast in?

Well I have put it back to 18c and it has a little activity, did not add any yeast.

Will keep a eye on the gravity to see if it is doing any thing.
