Powdered Ginger

Hello all, im not sure where to post this but im looking for some powdered ginger. Need it in kg size< can only find it in the little packets at safeway ect. Im in altona Victoria. Any help will be greatly apriciated. Thanks.

Give that a try. Not 1 kg but bigger than supermarket I think.

I'd try one of the Indian supermarkets on Barkly St in West Footscray, I seem to recall seeing fairly large bags of spices in one or two of those. Not sure if they were 1kg though.

If you are in Melbourne, go Indian. In my headbanger ginger beer 9% alcohol days I used to get it in 500g bags for something ridiculous like $4 as compared to the pissy little packets at Safeway.
