Posting Pictures In Signature

I know i've seen a thread to this somewhere but i for the life of me can't find it again. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

I've tried using the add picture link but it only gives me the option for an URL. The picture is on my harddrive and when i try the file directory in the URL section it tells me an error has occured.

Upload it somewhere on the net, try somewhere like photobucket.com and then put in the URL to the image you've put there. You can upload stuff to your ISP usually as well, they should provide a webspace that you can upload stuff using FTP.

It cannot be on your hard drive, it has to be on a public site such as photobucket. It is not kept on AHB.

Every time someone loads a post from you, they will need to access your photo/website where ever it is.

Do not use a big picture, or the link will be removed.

Think of people on slow dialup, loading up pictures, especially ones that you have no control over is a right royal pain.

I'm not on dialup, but I find signatures distracting... So I just disable them in My Controls. Apologies to all those with witty signatures!!

Another option is to go to "my controls" on the left will be a "change my personal photo" tab, click it to take you to a page where you can store 1 picture. Upload your piccy file from your computer and click update.
Then refresh your screen and copy the URL. Then all you have to do is paste this into your signature as normal.

I think this would probably help with faster download times for the dial up people.
