Yikes Bro, with respect, your post hurts my brain. May get a bit more responses one edited.

Hi All, first time poster. I will be in Perth during the second week of September. Is there a pub within reasonable distance that you would recommend, in order that I try some of the local brews? I'm staying at the Casino - any help appreciated.

Thanks - On Tap

Umm actually, just re-read my response - yeah, don't mean to be arrogant / out of line etc, hopefully it's taken in the spirit it was written.

Cheers - Mike

Grahmer and speelung clues aside, my $0.02 on the subject matter -

A bit of choice to be had. Most of these aren't too far from Burswood, but I'd plan this around lunch or dinner.

Head to Fremantle to check out Little Creatures in the flesh or head to The Sail and Anchor for some Matilda Bay stuff. Most of the Matilda Bay range is available around town at some of the prettier pubs like The Brass Monkey, along with their Brass Monkey Stout, or The Queens

Head to the Swan Valley for a visit to the Feral or Duckstein breweries... seems there's a few more that have cropped up since I was out that way last - http://www.swanvalley.com.au/breweries/mic.html

There's also The Last Drop in Canning Vale and The Old Swan Brewery on the 'river.

My picks are the Old Swan's Porter, Feral's Pumpkin Ale when they have one on and the food at Little Creatures.

Cheers,
d
