Agree with Seehuusen here. It's easy to ruin your holiday, work trip or whatever by whinging about the 'bad' stuff you see there, but it's just as easy to move on and look for the places that are worth hanging out at.

Wategos has been a magical experience for me as well. Took my kayak out through the waves and was suddenly surrounded by 20 to 30 dolphins who stayed touching distance to my boat for the next 45 minutes, seemed like I was their mother/leader/best friend. Once one of those big organised kayak groups steered towards us they immediately pissed off. Got it all on video too.

70 cops, and 6 months of detective work to arrest 8 hippies with a few bags of bush seems like a bit of an over the top use of resources, but that's prohibition for ya.
