New topics since last visit not working

I have been using the new topics since last visit function

does not want to work now

top right corner "view new" button.

then see which options you have selected on the left.

select "forums" & "new since last visit" and see if that works.

Mine broke the other day. When I woudl click on page two, it would tell me there was no new content . It was working initially.

I fiddled with those left options, got it working and it seems to have stuck.
