Howdy Brewers,

I need to ferment a wheat beer and other half of the batch tasted like burnt rubber, so not going to use the vial I have after splitting it.

Done some research and found a thread from a couple of years ago but the feedback was inconsistent. Wondering if anyone has any recent experience with Munich and would you use it again over WB 06?

I'll report back in a few days.

I have just used munich for the first time in a brew that is ready to keg now.

I've used 3068 and WB06 a number of times so will be interested to compare.
 
I used WB 06 in a wheat beer just the once and it tasted like shit ( apples).
Further research suggests it's more suited to belgian wit styles .
Just my 2cents .

WB06 is ok'is

Only tried Munich once and was disappointed
 
Not exactly what you are asking but I have used wb-06 in 4 wits now fermented at 17c and they have all turned out really good (from what I have read its more a heffe style yeast?) Have not tried munich so cant compare.
