Hi all,

Looking to clone a beer I tried on the weekend, real nice drop but only available in SA so hoping maybe someone has tried it and can assist!
Basing specs of malt / hops / yeast found here: http://www.mismatchbrewing.com.au/archieredale.html

Threw some stuff in to brewmate to get a basic idea, will put it in to beersmith and get a better gauge when I leave work.

Any feedback / thoughts appreciated!

Efficiency: 70%
Mash @ 66 (this is accurate, probed the figure from the brewer)

OG 1.053
FG 1.013
IBU 35.4 (site says 35)
EBC 34.1 (site says 33)
ABV 5.2% (site says 5%)

4.000kg Pale malt
0.900kg Rye
0.500kg Torrified wheat
0.300kg Caraaroma
0.080kg Midnight wheat (can’t get this, swap for chocolate wheat?)

15g Centennial @ 60
10g Cascade @ 30
10g Centennial @ 30
10g Cascade@ 10
5g Centennial @ 10
15gCascade @ 0

Yeast: Nottingham
 
Rye can make sparging hell, but I dont think you will have enough to be an issue

I've heard this, I have my grain in a bag in my mash tun so if I do get any issues I can move it about.

I discovered sparging issues when I first used 10% rolled oats in a recipe. Bag solved this,
