Had lunch today at Maggies at Potts Point (50 Macleay Street, Potts Point, just past that water fountain in Kings Cross).
The owner Maggie is the Maggie from Una's. Una's on Victoria St/Rd(?) at Darlinghurst is her old restaurant, and prior to her selling it was awesome.
Well now at Maggie's she has done it again. Great food, quick friendly service and German/Austrian beer. Erdinger/Bitburger/Zipfer/Goesser ....
I had the Smoked Pork Loin with sauerkraut, and my wife the Schnitzel. Both meals were fantastic as was the beer and champagne.
The prices are very reasonable. A piccolo of champagne, a 500ml Erdinger Dunkel, huge Schnitzel, and Smoked Pork Loin for $46.
I reccomend it and will be going back myself for dinner next time (they only have Pork Knuckle on the dinner menu).

Beers,
Doc

Edit: Forgot they have Goesser too

Does sound good Doc :chug:

The missus and I may just have to go and check it out tomorrow
