Looking to upsize and hence are searching for pots around the 150-200L size. Aluminium or Stainless doesn't matter, although it is a gas fired setup so thicker base aluminium might even be better.

So far options are:

- Ebay 140L aluminium for $250ish (acceptable but would like to try and go slightly bigger)
- Keg King 185L pot for $369
- SS 44Gallon drums - having trouble sourcing some at the right price. most I can find have been around $4-500

Obviously trying to keep costs down, would love to splurge on brewtech or bilchmann but it ain't gunna happen!

Shoot droid a PM, he may have some SS 44's for sale if you are in VIC.

I think your stainless drum might be the way to go.

There used to be larger pot sizes on Ebay, a while ago I was seeing a few that were 225 litres for $409. Decent quality stainless steel with a sandwhiched aluminium base (I have 2 smaller sizes from the same supplier, and really like those pots). They dont' seem to be available at the moment, maybe not enough demand at that size.

New stainless steel drums were a similar price and volume.
