Hi guys i have a Spartanburg keg that i'm looking for a liquid post for ball lock style not pin lock. It's not the usual challenger keg it's actually a model F keg that was a pin lock. The liquid out post has the same thread as the cornelius keg not the bigger one they normally have.
Can anybody help me on either what parts i'm after or who may have parts for these kegs.

Cheers Wade

Hi Wade,

For a Spartanburg catalog click HERE

It might have the info you are after, as for purchasing new or second hand ones, try Ross at Craftbrewer a sponsor at the top of the site.

Hey guys,

I was cleaning one of my kegs out just now & noticed some marks on the inside of the keg posts. I tried to scrub them out without much luck.

If you look inside the post from the bottom, there are 2 flanged areas, they are on the second flange which is where the top of the dip tube sits.

Should i be paranoid & replace them, HTFU & scrub better or, RDWHAHB???

Thanks
Goldy

Hey Goldy,
Your posts should be OK. Just sterilize as usual before use.

Hoppy brewing, Ivan
