Hey guys

I just have a quick question I have a blue mountain lager that has been sitting the ferm for 12 days OG was 1049 however fermentation seems to have stopped at 1018 (3 consecutive readings) im not too worried as i think ferm has finished but 1018 seems a little high i have given it a little shake to see if it kick starts but it has just remained constant at 1018. As i said im not overly worried just wanted to get some other ppls thoughts.

Ingredients
tin morgans blue mountain lager
us05
25g hersbrucker @15min
BE2
200g ldme
Fermentation @ 18-20c

Cheers

Would be good to see it drop a bit more mate, id give it another swirl and leave it sit a bit longer. If it still doesnt drop after a few more days, chances are its done or stalled.
If ever in doubt, bottle in PET bottles, saves drama.

I see you're using US05. I've noticed in the last three brews using US05 that the ferment has paused around the 1017-1018 mark at 18c. I've racked to secondary and let it warm up over 20c and the ferment finishes off nicely close or on my target FG. No adverse tastes and a clearer beer.
