gday all,
was recently taken out to dinner for my bday by the wife to James Squire brewhouse in Sydney, i made it a mission while i was there to try every beer on the menu. well the first i tried was the governor king which i instantly loved and just kept craving after every beer so had to fit the other beers in between rounds of governor, while i was sitting there i was trying to work out the hops, i was thinking cascade and amarillo? well heres my go at an extract recipe.
3kg generic wheat lme
500g caramalt steeped
40g amarillo @40
30g cascade@20
30g cascade @5
Yeast? maybe nottingham or s04
filled to 23

abv 4.5%
ibu 30
any thoughts? changes?
