John Guest or Barbed on New Kegerator

Got my new gas today and did a complete check on the keggo as I reconnected the kegs. Leak was a PRV on one of the kegs. I could just hear it faintly burbling and a dose of soapy water showed it up. All JGs are holding up ok.

Always pays to have a spare PRV and a couple of poppets in stock.

I stick with barbs on the gas side and JG on the liquid side.
Only ever find I need to disconnect the beer lines anyway.

My only leak so far is at the screw-on barb fitting on my regulator. It it right that they have no rubber seal? WTF?

I replaced mine with a JG fitting. No leaks now
