On the news only a couple of days ago Pres. Obama was talking about raising the mini wage to 8 or 10 bucks an hour. Forget exactly how much he said but it wasn't much.

Minimum wage in the USA depends on what state you are in. Off the top of our heads NY is $7.25 an hour and if you are in a tipping industry it is $2.25 an hour.
