How Do You Support Your Hop Sock ?

thats basicly what i do too.

I just used a couple of bits of good old twitching wire that didnt end up on a fence.

they wrap around the handles on the old 18gal keg to hild it up.

This works fine for me....also doubles for a car antenna(sp?)
 
I have a spare dip tube that I just poke though the handles of the sock and sit across the top of my keggle.... seems to work and is ezy to add hops to as the boil continues..

I don't own one (yet) guys. Just one idea though. Why don't you buy an Occy strap that's just a smidge shorter than the width of your pot and pull it from one side to the other and just hook it on the pot or chime handles?

Should be able to bear the load quite nicely. ;)

I am using high tech stuff like cable ties and bent wire. :D

Coat hanger through the two white handles and hooked over the rim of kettle on either side. Easy.
