Does anyone have a 70cm deep pot? Wondering if that is too deep for reaching in and cleaning? eg - scrubbing / cleaning out the base inside the pot.

What do people think?

As long as it's wide enough I'd have no problem, mines a 98L 50cm x 50cm and have no issues.

Rather depends on how long your arms are, surely? Me being a short fat bloke would have trouble, you being a taller skinny bloke probably wouldn't

Too true, Blind dog.

Thinking 45cm dia, 70cm deep. I can reach the bottom of a 60cm easily. An extra 10cm would get the volume to 110L, which would be nice for very large batches. But curious whether it is too deep for most people?

You call that a big pot? Thats not a big pot.....

THIS IS A BIG POT

No problems reaching in to clean either.

This is Idzy's big pot used at the last Vic Case Swap Brew day. For memory its a 600l pot that was used to brew a little 320l batch that we all took a cube home.

hahahaha - that is awesome. A pot you crawl into to clean...

What do you even heat a pot that large with?
