Hi GreggJ,

Heaps of threads on this if you put "mash hop" into the search feature. Most seem to agree it's equivalent to a 5min boil addition. Personally, having made a 100% mash hopped beer which though a nice beer, produced no hop aroma, so I don't bother mash hopping anymore - a waste of hops IMO...

That's some good info from personal experience Ross. I was thinking of doing a 100% Amarillo brew soon with just a 60min addition and mash hopping for all flavour/aroma. Interesting to hear you think its a waste of hops, might have to re-think that idea!
