Gave my 8L party keg its trial run. Filled it with a primed bitter ale. Two weeks later it's as flat as a tack with zero pressure in the keg. Seems I hadn't screwed the top on securely enough. Although the ale tastes OK. is there any way I can save it? Maybe toss in a bit of dextrose and yeast? Wouldn't know what quantities though.

If you do not have access to compressed CO2, just reprime it with some dextrose. There will be plenty of yeast left (unless you filtered all the yeast out with a 1 micron filter.)

Prime with the standard rate of 6 gms per litre. Dissolve it in a small amount of water in a saucepan, simmer for a few minutes to sanitise, chill in the sink with the lid on and pour into the keg. If you just add powdered dextrose, it will froth everywhere.

Like a bottle, leave it at the correct temperature for your yeast so that it will prime up.
