Yep, was good to catch up with DJR, Gerard, KoNG and Matt. I think the Aussie Ale was my favourite too. I agree the APA was a bit light on the hops but was still an enjoyable drop. The dark ale finished me off conclusively... :lol: Or was that the kabab that DJR talked us all into??? <_< :lol:

The Lucas Neall Aussie Ale was probably my favourite.

OT but I have to tell this.

Yesterday morning we get together with one of the girls who SWMBO works with. Been out all night and dropped off to where we were meeting, we were supposed to see a pre-screen of Shrek 3. Turns out she had gone into the Cross and ended up hanging out with the Socceroo's unwittingly. Spent the whole night in some VIP area at Dragonfly.

Halfway through the night she had noticed the crates of vodka and soda being delivered to the area. Didn't have to pay anything. So she tucked in. She had been striking up a very long and friendly conversation with one of the guys there, before she asked "So what's your name and what do you do?"

It was Lucas Neill :lol:

Still didn't sink in as she doesn't follow soccer. They head out in a cab to pick up her car at Randwick after the ugly lights came on at 5.30am, then Lucas drives her and her car back to the hotel (Crowne Plaza, Parramatta) after 7am before being invited upstairs for more drinks . Her reply, "I can't, I have to go watch Shrek" :lol:

She dumps him to go and watch Shrek because she had no idea who he was :lol: Then thanks to a balls up at the theatre, nothing was shown.

A real life Tom Cruise and Lamb Roast tale.
