Hand Pumped Ale's @ The Nag's Head Hotel.
Matt Donellan has prepared three kegs for this Friday night, a Stout, Pale Ale & an Amber. The Amber will be a bit of a winter warmer. At 5.8%Alc, it would certainly knock the legs from under a few Italian Soccer players!
Nags Head Hotel. 162 St Johns Road Glebe. From 5pm.

Cheers
Gerard

Bumped for those trying to figure where they will start the weekend!

I'll be there this Friday again with the usual folks and some new people to introduce to real ale - any word on what will be tapped?

I am no chance this Friday night, which sucks as I am working not far from there tomorrow, maybe next month.
Cheers
Gerard

To help save the enviroment I will just re-cycle an old thread!

Once again Matt Donellan of St.Peter's Brewery will have his cask conditioned ales on the hand-pump this Friday evening at The Nag's Head Hotel in Glebe. This time around there will be 2 casks of Dark Ale along with a Belgian Wit. The beers start pouring from 5.30pm. I have a permission slip, baby sitter & a driver, so no excuses this time around.
Cheers

Sounds awesome 2 Dinners,
wish I could make it up for a pint or 2, but with the twins I'm limited. We do have a new beer coming on soon at FIBC...

Hand-pumped Ales @ The Nags Head Hotel
It is the first Friday of the month, so as usual Matt Donellan of St.Peter's Brewery will have his cask conditioned ales on the hand-pump at The Nag's Head Hotel in Glebe. This time around there will be an American Pale Ale & a Dark Ale. The beers start pouring from 5.30pm until the casks run out. As usual the St.Peters Blonde is still on tap at The Nag's 7 days a week. Plenty of good beer chat to be had.

see you there

you going GM....? i could be persuaded.
the dark ale sounds interesting... any info on that.?

Yeah, sounds like a good line up. Its also just a hop skip and a jump from where I work! :super:

Yep I am a certainty this time around. I will get there around the 6.30 mark.
KoNG the Dark Ale is very tastey, & worth the trip. maybe we should rattle Duff's cage & see if he can make it to an away game?
I hear Shonky shall be attending, so with a few more it could end up a big night!
Cheers
Gerard

Sounds good,
i'll be there then. Probably a little earlier than that, but thats fine. When you've had your second i will have had 4 or 5 and we'll be on the same level. :D

I'll be there too...

I'm definately going to be there tomorrow. All you beer lovers that rave about the lack of fresh, flavoursome beers available in Sydney - here is your chance.

We don't want to see these once a month chances go forever for lack of support. So come-on party people!!

thems fightin words.!
(i hope they are fresh and flavoursome like you claim .. shonk)

Blame me if they're not Kong, failing that the brewer will be there :excl:

I've been trying to get there for a while now, so tomorrow sounds like the night. Keen to tuck into the dark ale :chug:

I have my leave pass so i will be down there this time! See you all at about 6ish

I went for a pint (or 7) on friday night.
Matt had 3 casks to get through, which was fun.
The Lucas Neall Aussie Ale was probably my favourite. The APA was good too but would have been alot better with some dry hopping in the cask.. i reckon. The Dark ale was last and went down well, 2 of those and it was home time.

Glad i went... and will be sure to get there next month.
twas goodto chat to DJR and Matt too.

out
KoNG
