From Taflex's post it sounds like Grumpy's needs a friendly pub in the city to wack some beers on tap. Sort of like Sharers at Picton and the Australian at the Rocks.

But - 15mins out of the city ain't much. I had a few beers with some mates last Fri night at the James Squire at Darling Harbour in Sydney. Caught the bus home. Left Town Hall at 2am. Walked in the front door at 3:30am. Had a nice kip on the way home though.
