Salt additions are meaningless unless they give both the amount and the volume or the result as is in "I'm adding 50ppm....."
4g of Calcium Sulphate in a swimming pool is nothing, in 1L it's way too much if you get my drift, there will be plenty of people here who are happy to help you with most any question you want to put, but if you want useful answers you need to provide the right information.

What is your batch size, are you treating all your water both mashing and sparge...
