There's a Gordon Strong IPA recipe I want to try that uses ~ 700g of Orange Blossom Honey (for a ~21L batch). It appears to be a bit difficult to get hold of and expensive. Anyone brewed with it?
Just wondering whether I could just use normal honey instead and whether you think it would make much difference?

I thought about making one of his recipes with the orange blossom honey but difficult to find decided to go with some plain honey and add some orange zest into the fermenter. Bought the honey but never got round to making it as it turned out to be fake honey from India. But that is the way I would do it.

Who knows what's real and fake any more with honey. Yes, think that's a good option.

Yes, 15 for 1kg is reasonable. Will get some, sounds like a tasty honey and worth a try on its own.
