Goliath Gas Bottle : Sydney Refills?

Hello all,

This sounds like a great idea. I hope it catches on - would be great to not have to rent cylinders.

Anyone in Sydney who owns their own gas bottle recommend a place that will provide refills?

Reg,

Obviously BOC or Air Liquide CAN fill them but generally they say NO because they want to rent cylinders rather than sell gas. Some of their Branch Managers do fill them however.

Have a look around at work or in your car park at the fire ext cylinders that are about and ring the people who's name is on the sticker. They should be able to assist.

After all, it's only CO2. It's not as if it's LPG or anything!

I don't think you can really blame BOC etc johnno , they are in the business of renting bottles

OK having said that , I took mine to Wormald fire protection today , "not a problem mate"
Filled it no worries

And I live 1600 north of Perth ! If I can get it done anyone can !
