A big pot, sure, why not? You can grow anything in a pot, just may/will do better in the ground.
I've still got 2 in pots, a Canterbury goldings and my POR, thw POR has about 20 bines shooting, feel kinda mean about it the poor thing, at least I gave it a bigger pot this year. All the rest I have are in the ground.
