Up for sale I have a barely used ChillOut MkIII 30 plate chiller.

Used for approximately 6 brews.

Located: Graceville, Brisbane.

Price: $90

Do not resist... It's sitting all shiny ready to go.

It needs a home. For just $90 you can sponsor a piece of brewing equipment and give it a better lease on life.

Bump!

Open to offers.
How well has it been cleaned out after each brew?
These can harbor some nasty shit if you don't follow good sanitary cleaning practices.
The next brew can get an infection from lack of cleaning so I hope you were anal with that process.
I'm interested to make you an offer so tell me a bit more.
Cheers

Hi Crusty - thanks for showing interest.

I'm tidy brewer, and like to take care of my equipment.

Here's my cleaning regime post-brew (specifically focused on the plate chiller):

1. Flush the "wort in" and "wort out" ports using a garden hose until water runs clear and no hop/protein debris is detected (both directions)
2. Use a pump & my Braumeister to re-circulate a low concentration of PBW at 70 degrees for 20 minutes.
3. Repeat step 1.
5. Drain and allow to dry.

Prior to re-use I'd flush the chiller with water, then submerge in StarSan.

Hope that helps!
