I heard that the straight banana's are better then the bent banana's.

For the brew, not the gays
Oops. Waiting for PM from Mod any minute now. :D

Fatgodzilla, Your shovel keeps getting bigger. Shovel or your hole, 1 or the other

Lunch time - yes you guessed it, banana sandwiches. Then back to work, back to the old shovelling game.

As I was saying to some of the AHB guys that dropped in to the brewery the other day - I still think the best ever beer I made was a Framboise I did about 4 years ago. The only problem with it is that there is only 1 bottle left. :(

When I was doing a bit more restaurant/bar work I would occasionaly get some smarty pants decide to have a bit of a laugh at the 'girly' beers (peche, framboise, kreik, blackberry hefe) that I had on the menu. I would casually point them in the direction of Al,one of the bartenders, and tell them to inform him that his favourite beers were 'girly'. No-one ever mentioned it to him.
Al is 6ft10 and weighs 140kg.

That all said, NEVER put a lemon in my hefe.!!!!!!! ..... or orange wedge in my wit !!!!

.... it annoys the Fr%^$ing $99@# out of me.

Blasphemy. That's like mixing Laphroaig with coke.

It is fashionable around here to mix beer approx 50/50 with either tomato juice or something called "clamato" juice. You guessed it, tomato juice with clams. Ugh. I brought a keg to a friend's once and one of his other guests came this close --> <-- to dumping clamato in my precious homebrew. I almost choked him.

My names Winkle, I brew and I fruit :p

(sometimes without due care)

Oh Canada - now I know why South Park has declared war on Canada !!!!!

That said - we have what we call a "Turlinjah Breakfast" in the style of a hangover cure - up to six fresh oysters in a seven of Tooheys Old beer - (with or without chilli to taste) if you can keep it down you're right for the day. If not .. not worth going on, is it ! :icon_vomit:
