Ebay Kegging Setups Any Good?

Hey everyone was just looking at this item on ebay and wondering if anyone had any experience with this crowd or had purchased this. It seems really cheap but is it too good to be true?

The premium keg king regulator has dual gauges, showing the pressure level inside the cylinder, and also the regulated pressure of the outlet. It is very easy to install and adjust. Comes with a locking ring, so once it's set, people cannot tamper with it.

I would do some research into how well these perform. I have heard bad reviews of cheap regs. Otherwise it seems like an okay deal.

now if your legit, then your better off explaining your requirements/budget etc etc and we can offer advice on whether that system would be good for your requirements

haha no definitely not the owner I've just got an old 290l fridge and am looking for a good bang for buck two keg set up around 300-350 with a tap mounted on the fridge.

The reg looks like one of those cheap nasty *******s that some other brewers I know of that have had a little trouble with. That was some time back though. See how much the lot will cost without the reg and then go buy a good branded one such as micromatic.

Keg King being the seller has branded them, but what I was wondering is who is the manufacturer of the reg or if it is a rebranded reg.
They do state on there website that they do meet Aust standards

www.kegsonline.com.au have a special for $290 two keg system plus postage with the micromatic regulator that has been recommended I suppose it would just be safer to buy that one considering a miniscule price difference

I purchased my "keg starter kit" from eBay. Just looking back, I thought it was this guy but instead I bought my co2 bottle off him. Keg_connections is whom I got it from.

That's a cheap price. Like others have said, the regulator might be the cheap thing. I got a dual-gauge Tesuco regulator with mine. I can't speak for long-term durability but so far it's working fine. I think the cheaper kits are a great start to kegging. I looked at going straight into a kegorator but I am glad I have started with the basics and I can now go from here.
