I reckon the false bottom would work OK, possibility of stuck sparges with the tiny mesh size though
Like a lot of that seller's items, I'd say they're bulk imported from China

That false bottom is an Ikea spatter guard. I need two of them to keep them from blocking in my bottom feed mash tun.

I can tell you from personal experience that they block almost instantly when used as a false bottom. Although I'm sure a super coarse grind would fix that problem.

Maybe just pour the grain in as is. ;)
