I like mine to have taps on each one so you can turn off when not in use etc, but its alot cheaper than the ones in the BS

Yea. I was thinking to order and add the taps. At that price... Push in and everything.

I was looking for a new Pipette for refractor samples and found these.

I have already ordered and received these and I find it hard to believe 100 cost me $3.50, they arrived in less than two weeks.

Im meant to be using a pipette???

I dip my finger in the sample and put a drop on the refractometer. I figure its not going back in the fermente so so risk of infection. Far as i know no sugar on my finger so shouldnt affect the reading.

Or am i just a lazy prick.

Well I use a pipette as soon as the boil ends, then I leave in the pipette to cool before doing my reading. I'm sure someone in China makes disposable fingers.
I also used a sanitized pipette to take F.G. readings, rather than a finger.
