I have two fermenters of almost identical American Ale sitting at 20c in the fridge. I am going to dry hop into the kegs at the end of the week. I have made this beer with 100% Chinese Cascade and would like to add another dimention to the beer.

Options

1g to 1l traditional Cascade
1g 1 l Chinese Marco Polo
or a combo of both hops

or 1 Cascade, 1 Marco Polo

Any thoughts on all Cascade v's Combo hopping?

Thanks

Shawn :)

I say do a 1:1 ratio with your 2 different cascades.

This is a very good way to measure the difference between the hops because you are treating them the same.

FWIW, I brew around 50L and ferment in 2 vessels, so I often do different dry-hopping schedules like this. At the moment I am even considering doing little a chocolate steep so that I can turn 50L of APA into one APA and one US Brown type beer.
