As a young lad of about 18, I got accepted into a degree course in Brewing Science at Heriot Watt University (in Edinburgh). It was my fifth choice of course and Uni.

In the end I let my elders and head rule my heart and went to a different Uni and subject.

25 years later I got a Coopers kit for Xmas, and here I am regretting the follies of mispent youth.
