I brewed an AIPA on the weekend and used my cubes to guesstimate how much water i started with

I used 3 cubes of water, and so assumed there was 60L in pot, whereas in reality there was actually about 70L - i remembered yesterday that the cubes actually hold 23L

So now my FUPA has a starting gravity of 1.047 instead of 1.059, and IBU's at 44.2 instead of 55...is it gunna be farked? or just a different style now?

I wouldn't worry about it. You made a lot of beer - and that's a good thing!

sounds like you just made a hoppy pale ale now... leave it as is and enjoy having more beer

You've got a decent malt base to support the hops and because your overall ratios have remained, so your 40somethingOG is matched to 40 something IBUs instead of 50ish/50ish you'll probably have hoppier APA style beer.
The strong flavour of the hops might make me wrong but I think you'll be ok.
I made an IPA for my first AG which was a little under spec as an IPA due to me learning my equipment and process, but as an English Pale it took 2nd at AABC :)

thanks guys

thought i'd be ok with the perle and vienna in there but wanted to check that i wouldn't end up with a dry dock super blonde or something

It's completely ruined! :icon_vomit:

Better send the lot to me for analysis. I let you know how it turned out! PM me your address and I will remove the offending beer from your property.
