Ok guys.

Just kegged a lager (Morgans blue mountain) that I thought was started on 21st June but it was actually started on the 24th. I put the fermenter in the fridge on 2nd July so that means it only had 8 days at about 20-22 degrees. Will this be a problem?

Starting gravity was 1032 and finishing was 1008. Batch was made to 25 litres with 500g of dex. (It's for SWMBO).

Edit: there's also half a dozen bottles in the garage.

Cheers

Pips.

Lager should be in the fermenter about 2 weeks at a lower temp, not 20-22.what yeast did you use

Kit yeast so probably an ale yeast. Tin said that temp was ok.

That tin ships with an ale yeast and at 1.008 it's as done as it's every going to be.

It might benefit from some time conditioning in the keg, but I wouldn't stress. Give it a week then drink it.

Cheers.

It's in the fridge set at 10psi til next weekend.

It didn't look too clear when I bottled it either. I always do a clear bottle with every batch so I can monitor easily. Other stuff I've done ( this is only my 4th btw) has been pretty clear going into the bottle.
