I was alarmed at the price of drip trays, so to DIY one I thought of using cup holders like this one (https://www.bunnings.com.au/pinnacle-pegboard-can-holder_p2760303)

I just bought an old keezer with taps on either side of the front - kind of like this: [` `]
So I would need two small trays, or one ridiculous 70cm one (which would probably cost more than the fridge did!)

For those who have dripped already, is a cup holder like this enough? I don't know how much dripping we're talking here... obviously it won't catch someone knocking over a drink, but I figure with a red solo cup or similar in there, it will catch a fair bit and be real easy to clean up.

Take a look at the kingchrome magnetic tool holder from Bunnings. That's what I use, it is wide enough for 3 taps, pending on spacings, and you can move it, or pull it off for emptying and cleaning.

It seems anything made in SS has a premium, even more so when it's specifically beer related. However end of the day most of us (note this doesn't include me I have a few keg dispencing pieces of equipment) build these once, buy once cry once. I'll be saving my pennies for a good while to pay for the accessories on my new keezer. Better to squirrel the pennies than have to replace stuff down the track.
